SCHOTT's thin glass provides solutions for application development in the semiconductor and electronic components sectors.
SCHOTT enables the miniaturization of various sensors for semiconductor and electronic components, such as RF front-end applications that are central to communication technology, by providing a range of glass materials with different types and thicknesses, including ultra-thin glass of 30um, as well as products with precision hole drilling. For thin glass used in 3D imaging and sensing components (such as CMOS, WLP, WLO, and IR cut filters), we offer the D263 series, MEMpax, TEMPAX Float, AF32eco, and B270 series. The innovative hole-drilled glass substrate FLEXINITY, which has precise shape accuracy and high surface quality, is also supplied for various applications in 3D image sensing, including automotive pressure sensors, ToF cameras, structured light, and stereo cameras.
